Dave Knights is Runner Up in Yonex National Badminton Volunteer of the Year 2004

Marske Badminton Club’s Dave Knights was Runner Up in the Yonex National Badminton Volunteer of the Year for 2004.

As winner of the Volunteer of the Quarter Award earlier in the year, Dave was automatically put forward for the annual award.

As Dave was unable to be present at the All England Championships, Paul Hensby, one of the Marske JBC Coaching Team, received Dave’s Certificate from BADMINTON England’s Interim Chief Executive David Teasdale, at a Volunteer’s Reception, hosted by National Development Director Sue Sutton, held after play on Semi Finals Day.
